Choosing a Photographer
Once The Big Day is done and dusted, the photographs are what you will cherish for years to come. So naturally choosing a photographer can be a little stressful.
Here’s some tips to help you make that all important decision:
Choose the style you’d like for your photographs. Traditional or arty. Pick a style that reflects you and your partner.
Budget will always be factor so decide early on what kind of money you’re willing to part for this service.
It’s probably not one of the first things you would think of but you want to get along with your photographer as you’ll be sharing this special day and big moments with them too! So make sure there’s no personality clashes or difference of opinions before you make your decision.
Review their past work. Ask about their experience. They might seem like very obvious things to question now but in the midst of all the planning and deciding you may forget to look at past weddings they’ve photographed. It is a great insight as to how your photos will look on the day.
As well as professional photographs of the day, you might want to consider having guests getting a little snap happy too. Leaving disposable cameras on the tables, perhaps even a pop-up photo booth with props for your friends and family to have some fun and document the celebration into the early hours of the night are a great way to capture the day.
